VIST Vacuum Unit
ViST maximizes the volume of recovered and reused fluids, and it provides cuttings that are dryer than those from Shale Shakers alone. Dryer cuttings mean less drilling waste and more recovery drilling fluids. ViST can save money for operators when it comes to drilling fluids and waste management.
Installation and Use
The ViST Pan is installed under the last screen or mounted externally onto a Shale Shaker like the S-Force 1000. From there, a suction hose is connected to the ViST vacuum unit. The compressed air from an air compressor or the rig air supply is required to create suction on the last screen surface, pulling additional fluid off the cuttings. The ViST is built to reduce the liquid on cuttings by 30-50%.
